GSTR-9 is an annual return mandatory for registered taxpayers with aggregate turnover > ₹2 crore. Taxpayers with turnover > ₹5 crore must also file GSTR-9C self-reconciliation statement.

Can I claim unclaimed ITC in GSTR-9?

No, you cannot claim new or unclaimed Input Tax Credit (ITC) directly in GSTR-9. Any correction or claiming of missed ITC must be done in the monthly GSTR-3B filings before the November 30th deadline following the financial year.
