Cookie Policy

Trezoriq has no login, no shopping cart and no billing, so it sets no session cookie for any of them. Exactly one cookie is set, and it is strictly necessary:

x-device-hint — holds one of three words,desktop, tablet or mobile. The server reads it to send the right layout on the very first render, before any JavaScript has run, which is what stops the page rearranging itself under you on load. It expires after 24 hours, is SameSite=Lax, and contains no identifier of any kind — the same value is shared by every desktop visitor on earth.

Everything else the site remembers lives in browser storage — localStorage and IndexedDB — which holds your settings and your encrypted financial data on your device and is never sent to us.

Your choices are remembered, but not with cookies. The light/dark setting is a localStorage entry (Trezoriq-theme), and so is every other preference. The practical difference matters: localStorage is never attached to a network request, so these values cannot travel to us or to anyone else the way a cookie would. This section previously described them as cookies, which was wrong.

No usage analytics run on this site today. The code is wired for a cookieless analytics service — one that would record that a page was used, never who used it or any figure you entered — but its script is not loaded, so nothing is sent. Our error monitor is active and may set an identifier so the events of a single crashed session can be tied together for diagnosis; it runs on our own infrastructure. Session Replay — which records a playback of the screen — is switched off; it previously sampled 10% of all sessions.
